Copic Markers Comparison

Copic Ciao Markers

Copic Ciao Markers

Ciao markers are the perfect markers for beginners. They have the same ease of use and special features as the Copic Sketch Marker, such as the super brush and medium broad nibs, but they are round and smaller in size, perfect for young artists. Copic Ciao colors.

One of my newest favourite blog finds is Deb Neerman’s Paper, Ink Scissors & Stamps ( Great name!) , She has an excellent article that compares trendy
Copic Markers

with Prismacolor Premier pencil crayons and OMS method. Note- The
Copic Ciao Markers

are the same in every ways as the more expensive
Copic Sketch Markers

one- except they are smaller and easier to manage. I prefer this size and almost half the price.

Deb sounds a lot like me in that she seems to have to EVERYTHING of something. I have a huge collection of Prismacolor pencils and some other high quality brands like Koh-i-noor pigment pencils.

I just about had a heart attack when I first heard about Copic markers. Why – I do NOT want another things to collect and spend money on.

Deb has given me a bit of relief- she does a very thorough comparison of the the Copic markers and pencil crayons. I will let you be the judge- but I was quite surprised.

After reading her comparisons “test” i was able to talk myself out of buying them.. well buying them ALL. I suspect I will cave in a buy a few more :-)
