Where are the Best Prices for Copic Markers?
I have recently been using and looking at Copic markers- People seem to be buying the Copic Sketch markers which are quite expensive; however the Copic Ciao are pretty much the same thing- just smaller and not compatible with airbrushing or replacement nibs. The markers were originally used for manga and animation drawings but scrapbook fanatics and stamping / card makers have embraced them
They have two tips- bold and fine and are known for their intense rich colors- as well as their high price tag. They are usually priced at 3.99 each. Copic markers do not bleed, period. I have used them on bristol, vellum, sketch pad, and watercolour paper.
Art Supplies & More at The Art Store sells their Copic Ciao 12 Marker Set the next cheapest price at 39.82.
Best review I have ever seen on these marker here on Stamping Inspiration blog
My advice if you have not used markers before is to try the Prismacolor Markers and see if if even like the technique. Most bloggers are reporting they really can’t see the difference and would just stick the much less expensive brand. the
Prismacolor Premier Markers run about 20.00- almost half the price.
