Quickutz has told its retailers it will nit be shipping the highly anticipated Quickutz LOVE electronic die cut machine as promised, Not only will it not be shipped- but its being scrapped all together!
So, the Quickutz Love never even was.
The Love die cut machine was an electronic die cut machine. At first I was pretty excited about this- it would cut dies without any cranking as well as cut any brand of dies ( like Cuttle big all ready does) and it also had a little bit bigger room to cut with an 8 inch platform. The price tag was hefty, 159.95 is a a lot for machine that cuts dies. A Cuttlebug
retails for around 60.00 and cuts ALL dies. The Quickutz Revolution is now selling in the 50.00 range and will only cut thin dies.. You can now by a Quickutz Silhouette digital cutter NEW for 150.00 with shipping so not sure why Quickutz expected scrapbookers to pay for a machine they most likely all ready all ready have. Even a Cricut“>Cricut is around that price point.

In my opinion the machine was pulled because of a number of reason.
Why would people buy this when most all ready have a cuttle bug that cuts all dies? The price tag is just huge.
The market for these is really shifting to digital cutting machines and the Love just seems like too little too late.
I think a big factor must have been the noise this machine made. It was REALLY loud with no ability to switch to manual operation .
Th minute I heard it could ONLY be used electronically and not manually I lost interest.
Quickutz has stopped production of its Love cutter is looking to come out with a totally overhauled version next Spring- one that is bigger and will be manually operated as well.
They are really messing this one up as Provocraft gets a bigger and bigger market share.
