Pictures of Scrapbook Recipe Swap
I took part in a recipe swap with 18 other women from Sandy McCauley’s ILOVEKNK yahoo group. The group is for people who use Klic-N-Kut software so most were done with KNK cutter, Quickutz Silhouette/ Craft Robo/, Wishblade cutter with KNK Studio GE Software ( which is a MUST have in my opinion!) I design most of my files in KNK.
Summer 2009 Scrapbook Recipe Swap
The parameters of the recipe swap were they were to be done on 8×8 inch cardstock , were Summer related recipes and each card you needed to use a diecut.
I participated with 18 other women so I made up 19 of the same design and mailed to Sandy who then organized all teh different recipes and mailed them out to us. Sandy is a HUGE force in the cutting world and often goes above and beyond.
Below is a Gallery of all the recipe cards I received from The recipe Swap. If you card is published and I do not have your permission. Please contact me and I will remove. If you want me to add a link to your site from your recipe card- let me know ( post in comments section or email me).
I was pretty happy with the design I created. I needed to do something simple and not to time consuming. I have a neck injury and can;t bend my neck for long periods so scrapbooking has been a real challenge for me this past year. I also didn’t want to spend too much money- I knew it could get out of hand REAL fast. I think the total cost for paper, adhesive, etc was about 15-20.0o so about a dollar a card. I probably could have done it for less but fell in love with lime green Stickles.
My recipe was
“White Sangria”

I used - DCWV Nana’s Kitchen paper
, Colormates cardstock( which I prefer to Bazzil) , Stickles Eucalyptus
and sepia chalk ink. I designed the pitcher with mat and lime slices .
