Hi All- enjoying the absolutely AMAZING Fall weather we have been having! Constant blue skies and warm temperatures here. The colours of fall leaves where I are just stunning. I live in small town in a valley surrounded by conservation area and it is just breathtaking. Couldn’t ask for a better Fall. Thanksgiving for us is this weekend- a much saner time of year- Thanksgiving in November sounds awful! .
I am hosting so sure to be lots of posts about burned gravy coming up. Will be usual family drama (heavily featuring my mom). Depending on the severity of incident I may or may not post. We are are on the dysfunction chart but still lots of love!
As my family is coming for the weekend and all will be curious about my son’s first weeks at school I MAY actually whip up some scrapbook pages! Haven’t scrap booked in ages so looking forward to it.

I have been racking my brain to come up with cutting file ideas but how many types of pumpkins and leaves can you do???? I saw a pair of birds outside today and they looked like two little friends catching up on the gossip and they inspired this design. The design is a simple one- a branch covered in leaves with two birds. I did this cutting file up with a card in mind so it is sized to be 7 inches wide. I like the card because there is a lot of play to be used with different colours and paper scraps. I think this will look great with solid cardstock and maybe an accent of patterned paper on birds wings or a couple of leaves.
Just a warning – the birds eyes and beaks are way too tiny to cut- will have to draw in with fine tipped marker or cut by hand.

I really like this design and can see lots of uses for it- would love to see what you guys come up with!
