Quite a weekend for me- bought a house!!!! Three years ago At the end of my marriage I lost everything and had nothing. We moved into a rented townhouse very suddenly and I have struggled ever since. Through shear will and constant saying no to myself and my kids for extras- I pulled it together and had enough for downpayment and bought us a cute little house. Been looking for something since August and was tough finding something in my price range AND neighbourhood I liked.

Found a house a couple of weeks ago that works and suits all our needs and bought it on weekend, Just need to go though home inspection this week.

I wasn’t feeling well most of the weekend and my car DIED AGAIN on Sunday! I have dumped way to much money into the car and not sure if I should just bail and look for another car.. I would like to get another year out of this on if possible. The flu and car dying sort of took away excitement of the house. I think also buying it by myself was very daunting and now the task of the actual move looming weighing heavily. My biggest worry is my son moving away from all his friends and a new school. He started school for first time after being homeschooled up until this Fall. He loves his school and small trauma last week when they had to reshuffle all the classes in the school because of class sizes and he was moved from his teacher into a new class. He made adjustment well and loves his new teacher.
I am afraid how another change will affect him and that part is not fun. I know long term it is best decision for our family and have to keep that in my mind while I help him adjust.

I did up the frame to do up some quick pages from my sons birthday a couple of weeks ago. It is simple however I am from the scrapbooking school of pictures are the main attraction
