I KNEW I should never have posted that Spring was here yesterday! We literally have a WINTER STORM WARNING!
Yesterday sunny and I was out thinking of doing some gardening ( if you knew how funny this is.. I have made oath to “try” gardening for close to 14 years now) .. so maybe was I was thinking of getting my sister to come over and do some garderning. Today its foggy… wet and icy cold…. Blech.
I am cozy-ish at my local Starbucks working on some new paper doll files. I have contest on now to win some of those cute Peachy Keen stamps to stamp faces on paper dolls. For more details on the contest please read my post, Win Set of Peachy Keen Face Stamps! Just Pick Out Your Favourite QP Doll. Basically you need to post your favorite QP Paper Doll on Twitter to win set of the stamps.
Did up this Medieval style traditional Princess Paper Doll. Some how Princess has become synonymous with Disney so I am trying to re-claim! Doing up the doll partly because Game of Thrones is back on TV and partly because my son is doing the dreaded Medieval Castle project at school. I am not sure how I feel about these mass creations. I suspect the bulk of them are constructed my well meaning parents.
As for new Princess doll- I would use small tuft of tulle for the peak of her hat. Lots of fun using up scraps of paper for her dresses too.
Last night my daughter declared that she would be taking charge of the castle making project and work with my son to get done by May. Was really really nice watching the two of them work together. There is a 6 year age gap and great to see then spend healthy quality time together.
I plan on making a knight for this little princess so stay tuned!
