Here is a new a versatile pop up style card that says ” I heart u” this has a cute design element that I’m not sure shows up very well. I put in holes for ribbon at the border and it looks really good
I used double sided cardstock from Bazzill Basics Paper Divinely Sweet Multi Pack 12′X12′ 25 Sheets 15 Printed & 10 Solid Cardstock Sheets as base outside and it looks so fresh and crisp . The inner part is Doublemates in Luscious Lime which has a really nice linen finish and cuts beautifully. By far my all time favourite paper.
I just used some tone on tone green ribbon and the reverse side of paper for the heart.

A very easy card that looks great finished. It is standard A@ size card ( 5.5 x 4.25 inches).

Going away to set up my trailer over the long weekend and so excited! I am it frightened that my trailer will not have held up over winter – One year I went up and trailer was FULL of black mold and had to trash. This is a relativity new trailer and in good shape so HOPEFULLY goes well!
We all really really need a bit of a break after the horrible week we’ve had

Totally random but needed to share this- Was very touched on Friday night. It was a very difficult week for my teenage daughter, 15. She has been having a tough time lately and the other night when ordering our family Pizza she must have said something to whoever she was ordering from…. Imagine how stunned I was when we were at dining room table and opened up our pizza box and saw the following message:

“You are Amazing Just the Way You Are!”

That random act of kindness made a HUGE difference and I am so grateful to you whoever you are!!!!!!
Thank you a MILLION times from this grateful mom!!!

The local pizza place is Topper’s Pizza and I am loyal fan for life.

Long .. long long week. I am so thankful to have this outlet to just forget about stresses of the world.
My daughter actually came up with idea for this simple yet adorable card. Once again my photo taking skills diminidh rather than enhance this card.

Reason I like this card is because it is what I call a “one cut card” and took one sheet of 81/2×11 double sided card stock. In this case it actually a gorgeous shade of plum and lavender but the picture is not doing justice.
The paper is my old standby, Doublemates, this time in Perfectly Plum.

Because its double sided literally needs one cut one sheet of paper. I didn’t embellish this because I wanted to show it in raw form- but I think it still looks pretty good! Card is shape of a football jersey and opens up.

I am looking forward to mother;s day and maybe a bit of gardening this weekend if weather holds up And by gardening I mean tell my kids to cut the grass.
