There isa deal on from Amazon , Cricut Expression for 297.47 AND free shipping. I think this is probably the best deal right now. It includes the usual Cricut Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook andCricut Accent Essentials shape cartridge. What makes this deal hot is the price and the free shipping and Amazon’s excellent return policy.

So far the best price I have seen for Cricut Expression from Cricut Direct at their Amazon store.. The price includes the usual 2 free cartridges, Cricut Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook and Shape cartridge . The shipping cost is not bad- $21.00.

AC Moore craft stores also have a pretty good deal onm right now, http://www.acmoore.com/p-59704-cricut-expression-cutting-machine-bundle.aspx 329.00 and FOUR cartridges (Plantin SchoolBook, Accent Essentials, Stretch Your Imagination and Paper Pups) also some inks.

Another good deal for those upgrading is a Cricut it Expression without any cartridges. Halllmark Scrapbook sells them for 209.99 shipping included ( some restrcitions) I did notice all sales were final tho- so not sure if that bodes well or not.

With the introduction of the newer version , QuicKutz Silhouette SD Prices for the original QuicKutz Silhouette are plummeting.
The original QuicKutz Silhouette does every the new version does the only difference is the SD slot. You can store images on and SD card and take with you on the go. When using images on the SD card you cannot edit them- make smaller, etc. In my opinion the best bang for you buck right now has to be the QuicKutz Silhouette at prices under 150 and often including bonuses then its a great time to buy a QuicKutz Silhouette.

Michaels has the Cricut Cartridges on sale this week as well at the CRICUT CREATE™ Personal Cutting System .
The Cricut cartridges are on sale for 65.99 (Canadian). This is a good deal if you but the cartridges- normally they are in the 119.00 range. You can buy limited styles at Walmart for 89.99 year round.

The CRICUT CREATE™ Personal Cutting System is 279.99 (Canadian) until October 10, 2008.

Looking on the US Michael’s craft site I don’t; see any of the Cricut products for sale.

Many scrapbookers use the Cricut system to cut out die cuts for their scrapbooks and cards. You do not need a computer to use.

OTT Light CHEAP: Best Price for OTT Light I Have Seen at Costco

Just came home from doing some grocery shopping at Costco . Bit of funny timing as I am literally in the middle of building my craft area and looking at lighting options. I currently use a clamp on magnifying glass/light for cross stitching and have been using that.

I have looked at OTT lights but to be honest they have been WAY out of my price range, I think the cheapest at Michael’s is something like 120.00 and even with 40% off coupon not going to happen.

So I was thrilled to pick this one up for 29.95 Canadian.

If you do any kind of craft or projects were there is some detail work- like scrapbooking, card making , stamping or cross stitch i would grab one of these.
The light is a “natural” light and high contrast and easy on the eyes. I normally need to wear reading glasses when doing small work and I think I won’t have to with this OTT light.
