Cute Halloween Treat Box Cutting File

This past couple of weeks I have been expanding my horizons and designing gifts boxes. I did take a course a LONG time ago in design school about making pop up art but things have really changed, ie. there was no adobe illustrator when I was in school! I recently made a purse box that I absolutely love- perfect for a gift of jewelery. This week I was struggling with a pumpkin treat box and gave up SEVERAL times. I would have liked to decorate but I found a great use for using up the printed paper i did up a couple of weeks ago, I PRINTED my own paper ! Cost me only $2.00 to download set of Halloween papers from Lettering Delights, Spooky Soiree and I am really pleased with results. I just printed them on cheap whit card stock I picked up at Micheal’s. They have a couple of other Halloween papers, Costume Clubhouse which I really like and “Best Witches“. If you’ve never tried printing your own scrapbook paper- give it a whirl. Cost me 2 bucks for 6 designs I can print over and over and so far worth every penny.

This a a rally cute frame/ border for St. Patrick’s day. It works very well as a frame or a boder for scrapbook page. You could also use on card by playing with measurements ( create a rectangle instead of square, etc. I also like the pot of gold in the corner and think this is really pretty design!

Meant to post this earlier in the week but was caught up in making the recipe swaps pages ! I can’t believe Mother’s Day is almost here!

I have been working on titles you can pop on a cards or a page and by “almost ” done. I did up this Mother’s day title file on Monday and love the heart shape. The design looks complicated but really isn’t. You can get lots of mileage by using interesting paper.

This free file can be used for Mother’s Day cards and scrapbook pages. I was looking for a more “folk” font but pretty much gave up .
I like this one and will be making up cards today for all my various moms

Can across this cute blog, CuttlebugChallenges its post some very good ideas for using yourCuttlebug cutter and offers several challenges and little contests. Prizes are usually gift certificates to various scrapbook stores. The owner has obviously put a lot of work into her projects and this is a little gem of a site.
